Non-British nationals in Afghanistan (or are a family member of a non-British national in Afghanistan) – You should call the Home Office on +44(0)24 7538 9980.These numbers are available 24/7. The “British nationals” number (+44 (0)19 0851 6666) is monitored 24/7 by consular officers.

The Home Office are prioritising the following groups:
Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) – Assists Afghans who have supported British efforts in Afghanistan, for example interpreters and other personnel current or former Chevening Scholars people with existing leave or an open application for student, work, and family visas journalists and those who worked with British news agencies members of civil society groups for womens’ rights, Afghan government officials working in counterterrorism and counter-narcotics employees of charities, humanitarian organisations and NGOs Please see the following Home Office guidance link for further details:

The Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA)
The ACAA work with Afghans and Central Asians providing support, skills and knowledge to those living away from their homeland. They offer free support and guidance on immigration matters as well as having grassroots links in Afghanistan, offering a uniquely specialist knowledge base. Domestic Violence Cases (Immigration)
If you have suffered domestic violence from your spouse who is a British Citizen or is settled in the UK, we can help you to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK.
Human Rights Claims Relating to Private and Family Life (Article 8 ECHR)
We can advise and assist you about making an application for Leave to Remain in the UK based our right to private and family life under Article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights.
We will usually be able to assist you in making a Human Rights Claim if we are able to obtain legal aid public funding for your case. Please note that Legal Aid Funding is only granted in exceptional cases.
Challenging Immigration Decisions (Appeals and Judicial Reviews)
Where you have received a decision from the Home Office with no right of appeal to the Tribunal we can help you to challenge that decision in a higher court.
Where Cases do not Qualify for Legal Aid
Many immigration cases, including most applications for visas and extensions of leave to remain, do not qualify for legal aid.
Ealing Law Centre has limited funding from charities to help clients with their immigration problems where they do not qualify for legal aid.
We may be able to help certain needy clients who live in the London Borough of Ealing and who would not otherwise be able to afford to pay for legal help, or get assistance and funding from other sources and organisations
