London Legal Walk

Ealing Law Centre team is taking part in the London legal Walk, please sponsor our team to raise donations for the team London Legal Support Trust: London Legal Walk 2026.

The funds will be used to provide free legal services for members of the community who are facing difficult situations such as homelessness or an ability to meet their day to day living costs. We provide advice and support which helps them access rights and entitlements under housing, immigration and welfare rights law.

Thanks so much for all your support.

Vicky Fewkes fundraiser for Ealing Law Centre

Just before the Pandemic I was inspired by our volunteer running to enter the London Marathon Ballot. She had run the London Marathon for the Law Centre and we were celebrating her run. On the off chance I applied and got a place – covid hit but I did start running. I realized that a marathon from no running at all was a bit ambitious but I did get the running bug. I have now run 4 half marathons and I have a ballot place for the Royal Parks Half on 12 October 2025.

This is the first time I have tried to fundraise. I am running to raise funds for Ealing Law Centre. Our funding environment remains extremely challenging. Any funds raised will go to supporting legal advice and triage services for our clients. Legal aid and grant funding barely touch the sides the levels of need and support in our community and our commitment to keeping the doors open and providing empathetic face to face triage is not cheap or fashionable.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

A lot of the problems which we help people with are not eligible for legal aid. We rely on the generosity of people and organisations to support this work; if you are able to give anything – however small – we can guarantee that it will be put to good use, helping people in real need.
